Talk to Born

Tell us the show. We’ll tell you what works.

Six short steps, about a minute. Whether it’s a booth for next month, graphics for a frame you already own, or a whole custom build — the more you tell us here, the closer the first reply is to a real quote instead of twenty questions. Prefer to talk? 719-247-1189.

What can we help with?

Pick as many as apply — plenty of projects are more than one. The next step only asks what matters for what you chose.

Tell us about it.

Rough answers are fine. Anything you don’t know yet, leave blank — we’ll work it out together.

What are you drawn to? (pick any)
What’s the scope? (pick any)

When do you need it?

The date decides what’s possible, so it’s the single most useful thing you can tell us. Ballpark is fine.

The day it has to be in your hands — not the show date.

What’s the budget?

Not to spend it — to aim at it. A range means the first thing you see is buildable, instead of a quote you have to talk us down from. Skip it if you genuinely don’t know yet.

20 questions

My show is in a few weeks — can I still make it?Ordering & timing

Usually, yes — and here are the real numbers. Three to four weeks is what we recommend: enough time for a pre-show dry run of your booth, and room to work with Born on pro-level display creative if you want it. The absolute minimum is 5–7 days from art approval to items arriving — the clock starts once your artwork is approved, before 2pm MST on a business day for that day to count, and creative design and approval time sit on top of it. Tighter than that and it is not being delivered on time. Tell us the show date when you ask for a quote and we'll confirm firm dates before you commit — we'd rather tell you it's tight than have you find out on the show floor.

What does a display actually cost?Ordering & timing

It depends on the system, the size, and how much of the design we build — which is why there's no single number on the page. A tabletop banner and a backlit 10×20 aren't the same conversation. Send your booth size and show date and you'll get options at a couple of price points, with design included in the number so nothing lands later.

Can I see it before I commit?Ordering & timing

You'll see a proof of the graphics before anything prints — that's not optional, it's how we work. Fabric can't be un-printed. For the hardware itself, we'll show you the exact system, its dimensions and photos of it built, and talk you through what it's like to live with at a show.

Do you ship anywhere?Ordering & timing

Yes — we ship from Colorado. You can have it sent to you, to your office, or straight to the venue or show's advance warehouse. If it's going to a show, tell us: the address and the deadline are different from a normal delivery, and missing the advance warehouse date costs money at the other end.

What do you actually need from me for artwork?Artwork & design

Less than people expect. Logos, brand colours and any photography you own is plenty — Born designs the panels to the exact dimensions and bleed of the system you ordered. If you already have print-ready files, send those and we'll check them against the template first. Nothing at all? That's the normal starting point for a custom job.

Can I use my own designer?Artwork & design

Of course. Send them to our Artwork Guidelines and templates — the panel sizes, bleed and safe areas are all there, per system. We'll check the files before they go to print and flag anything that will crop badly or sit behind a frame edge.

Why does my logo look different on fabric?Artwork & design

Dye-sublimated fabric renders colour slightly softer than a screen or a coated print — deep blacks and heavily saturated brand colours are the two to watch. Tell us which colours have to match exactly and we'll flag anything that won't behave before it prints, rather than after.

How big should my message be?Artwork & design

Bigger than feels comfortable. Most booth copy is read from 15–20 feet away, in a crowd, in about two seconds — that means one clear line, not a paragraph. Put the detail on the counter or a card people take away, and give the wall the one thing you want remembered.

Can one person set it up?Setup & travel

Most of these assemble tool-free in minutes — that's the point of push-fit frames and pillowcase graphics. Every kit ships with printed instructions and there are video walk-throughs under Set-up Instructions. Big hanging structures and the largest walls are the exception, and we'll tell you up front if a system genuinely wants two sets of hands.

How does it travel?Setup & travel

In a case or padded bag sized to that kit — wheeled cases on the bigger ones. It's part of the kit, not an upsell. That's what makes these systems worth owning: it goes in the truck, comes home, and lives in a closet until the next show instead of needing a crate and a freight quote each way.

What if something's missing or damaged when it lands?Setup & travel

Call 719-247-1189 the moment you open the case — not the morning of the show. There's almost always a fix if there's time: a replacement part, a reprint, or a workaround we've used before. The one thing that makes it hard is finding out late.

What size do I need for my booth?Systems & sizes

Tell us the footprint — 10×10 and 10×20 are the common ones — plus whether you're on a corner or against a wall, and any height limit in the show's rules. We'll spec something that fits the space and the rules. If you'd rather browse first, the By Size menu is sorted exactly that way.

Backlit or standard fabric — is the light worth it?Systems & sizes

On a busy floor, yes. A backlit wall reads from further away and photographs better, which matters more than most people expect when the booth ends up on social. Standard tension fabric costs less, weighs less and is quicker to put up. If budget is tight, a common answer is one backlit feature wall with standard fabric around it.

Will it work for retail or a showroom, not just shows?Systems & sizes

Yes, and plenty of these end up permanent. Light boxes and modular walls are used in lobbies, showrooms and pop-ups all the time. Say where it's going — a permanent install can use a different frame and mounting than something built to pack down every month.

What does “custom” actually mean here?Custom & agency

Anything. That's the honest answer, and it's the point. Custom can be as light as artwork designed by Born for a system you already own, or as deep as a booth drawn from a blank page — the structure, the lighting, the counters, the hanging pieces, the whole thing. Because Born is a state-of-the-art design agency first, the art and the hardware come from the same hands, so nothing gets lost between a designer and a fabricator. Tell us the space and the story and we'll show you what it could be — sometimes that's a standard frame dressed brilliantly, sometimes it's something nobody's built before.

You're an agency too — what does that get me?Custom & agency

A serious head start. Born is a pro-level agency design team that moved into the trade show world — design is the focus, not an add-on a vendor bolts to a hardware order. The same people who create brands, packaging and websites design the booth — the graphics AND the structure — so it looks like part of your marketing, and you're never translating between a designer and a fabricator. One stop for the whole thing: we design it, we manufacture it, we ship it right to you. And if the booth is part of a launch, we can build the whole campaign around it.

Can you match a booth I saw somewhere else?Custom & agency

Send a photo — and then let's beat it. Often the thing you liked is graphics and lighting on a system we stock, which we can do quickly. If it's a bespoke structure, that's squarely what we do too: we'll draw it, spec it and build it. Either way you'll get something designed for your brand rather than a copy of someone else's.

Next year the message changes — do I rebuy everything? After the show

No, and this is the reason to buy SEG or tension fabric in the first place. The frame is built for repeat shows; when the message changes you order replacement graphics for the frame you already own. We keep your files, so a reprint doesn't start from scratch.

How do I store it between shows? After the show

In its case, somewhere dry, standing rather than crushed under something heavy. Fabric graphics can be folded — creases drop out when the graphic is stretched back over the frame, and a cool iron or a steamer sorts anything stubborn. Don't store graphics damp after an outdoor show.

Can I add to the booth later? After the show

That's how most of these grow. Start with a 10×10, add a counter, then a hanging sign, then the second wall when you take a 10×20. Buying into a system rather than a one-off build is what makes that possible — tell us where you think you're heading and we'll spec the first purchase so it isn't a dead end.
